car is driving down the road, it skids out, goes through a guardrail and the front wheels are hanging off a cliff. The back wheels are lifted off the ground, but the car is balanced on the edge.
Along comes a bird who lands on the edge of the car, the car loses it's balance and falls off the cliff.
Do you say the car fell of a cliff because a bird landed on it? Or are all the preexisting conditions mentioned really behind it?
Should all people be worried about birds landing on vehicles, or should only those with their cars hanging off a cliff be worried?
The bird contributed to the demise in this instance.

So you think the cause should be listed as a bird landing on the car?
Because that's what they do with Covid.

Yet, I bet at the same time you will say you've done lots of research on the topic right?
I have looked at the potential risks of the vaccine quite a bit. Data is pretty fascinating to me. They are minimal. The handful that do exist were different than what he said his relative suggested. A quick google search revealed they were conspiracy theories. Prof found them before I did.
I have said repeatedly that I understand the concern for potential long term consequence but don't understand when weighed against the available safety data why it would prevent someone from getting vaccinated.
I've known several who have died from COVID but that goes with my line of work. My wife has worked COVID since this started and is going on 30 years as an ICU nurse. She firmly believes its by far the worst thing she's ever seen, she wasn't in favor of hiding in our houses but reasonable mitigation measures until we understood the virus and had better treatment and a possible vaccine was always our families perspective. I knew some wouldn't take the vaccine...I prayed it would be closer to the 75% needed. Selfishly its because things won't be normal until we get to that point and the quickest route is the vaccine. I know hundreds of vaccinated people and I only know of one who had a difficult time with the vaccine beyond 24 hours. That person was sick for 2 weeks and had COVID last July and was severely ill with COVID for the better part of 3 weeks.
Sorry for the cancer you're dealing with as a family. I have someone dear to my heart dying of it this week.

But not when they report the covid numbers.

I’ve seen a handful of Covid death certificates and they look like any I’ve seen before.

problem is NC State got cancelled when 4 vaccinated players tested positive
This past season? Reports are the vaccines didn't first become available until December 14, 2020.

Not sure why they would look different, but ok.

Shocked I tell you.

I told you welcome to America, where people have free choice. And that if you didn't like people having the freedom to choose for themselves, China is right up your ally.
People always looking to find a way to be a victim these days.
Yeah man, there is nothing more "Stalin" than pointing out in America we have freedom of choice.
And yet you've suggested people that don't agree with you should go to China. That's not choice or support of the freedom that the US grants to all -- it stands in direct opposition to the American political system which not only allows for but encourages differing opinions. The freedoms you hail in one sentence you shite upon when you suggest anyone who doesn't agree should GTFO.
You reverted to a choice argument regarding vaccines (and to be clear no one has suggested otherwise, even Sankey -- you have your choice and it was never in question) when called on your Stalinistic tendencies to send those you disagree with to Siberia... er China. However, no one ever suggested you didn't have a choice.

No, I suggested people who have a problem with freedom go to China.
I don't give a shite if you agree with me or not. I think I've told you that like 3 times now.

Yes, almost all of them.

Isn’t being 60+ years old essentially a comorbidity factor?
At any rate, I think there are plenty of folks who had rather not seen their grandpa or whatever die from COVID.

They should get vaccinated then.
I'm not anti-vax. If you are high risk, seems like a decent option.
But I disagree 100% with the way people try to push this stuff off, trying to say there is no risk, that everyone should get it, Calling anyone who questions things or doesn't just accept what they are told stupid, etc. frick all that noise.

False equivalencies. You can make a better argument than that.

That’s right brother. I’m happy my 60+ yo parents got their vaccines. One has lupus, the other COPD.
I think the quickest route to getting another 20% or so vaccinated is full FDA approval to the clearly successful mRNA vaccines. The J&J one is a shite show and probably did more harm than good getting the emergency cert to be quite honest.
