that's him and why we called him Tidal Merge on previous boards. He'd be pissed his pinned thread on the Bama board wasn't somehow linked to whichever megathread he thought was most logically linked.

When Tidesports sold out, I helped him bring all of the data we could salvage over the WoollyAl and rebuild the recruiting board there. It was tedious and time consuming to say the least, especially doing it around a typical 10-12 hrs work day.

I learned a lot, but damn if it wasn't like doing a chore for my dad with him standing over the shoulder critiquing every single thing. All negative reinforcement where you only know you are doing well by his not telling you where he thought you were fricking up

He was one of a kind. Great, great longterm poster and Bama fan! Really going to miss him.

Wouldn't mind seeing the Bama Recruiting thread named for him, but I know he'd roll over in his grave for it being off-topic
