Just watched a Loeffler video post-Clemson. Said Jay received word of his mother going into a coma an hour prior to leaving the hotel for the game.
No idea how Jay could stay focused during the game. Had to be extremely hard on him. Thoughts and prayers for him and his family.

My biggest wish is somehow we end up down on about the two yard line Saturday, and they hand the ball off to him to get the score.

Strong kid, that's for sure. I hope he was able to spend as much time as possible with her before she died. And as tough as it will be to go out and play two days after her funeral, any mother or father worth their salt would tell their children - "Don't worry about me, I'll be in a better place. You go out and play the game you love and make me proud."
