He's letting Dooley know he can coach tight ends for him next year.

Nick Saban didn't need a question to offer his thoughts on Tennessee coach Derek Dooley.

The Alabama coach handled it during the opening statement of his post-game press conference following the Crimson Tide's 44-13 victory.

It was Saban's third consecutive, 31-point victory over Dooley's Vols.

"I think Tennessee’s team really played hard," Saban said. "I think that Derek is doing a fantastic job. They have been better and better every year that we’ve played them. We were fortunate today that our defense played well enough to keep their high-powered offense to just 13 points.”

In other words...please keep them as our permanent opponent. It really works for us...and that tradition crap is ok too.

That is the most disingenuous crap. Saban wants UT to keep him and is worried they'll fire him so he puts in a good word. Saban has zero interest in UT being a good program.

Sounds like he wants Dooley to stay at Tenn.

Tenn needs to note: you need a new HC.
