while your looking up stats..
tell me what Miles record is with Fisher as OC.
tell me what Miles record is with Pelini as DC.
now tell me what miles record is without Fisher or Pelini.
without Fisher we had one good season, won a National Championship.. lost to two teams we shouldn't have. and nearly lost to auburn, florida, etc.. so don't bring up 07.

Why? Miles made good hires, most know that..well most real LsU fans anyway.
And you're talking about shouldn't haves & nearlys? Should Devery Henderson have caught that pass at Kentucky 2002 that was touched by at least 2 KY players?
Interesting, they called it a"Miracle"...but then a lot is convienently forgotten, when you're "In Love"..isn't it?

Dominated? 8, 10, 8, 13, 9 lots of single digits there Roy & Spurrier kicked Saban's arse badly, until he went to the NFL.
You mean till he went to The University of Alabama.

This is you answer explaining why YOU believe 48 > 51???

It was my answer to your strange old codger attitude about the way you perceive me to be a young whippersnapper who just walked on your lawn.
My answer to 48>51 is actually a question:
Who would you rather have as a head coach? Nicolas or Leslie?

Has the little fella coached at Bama 5 seasons already?

yes Miles made good hires.. both those hires are gone now and his coaching has gone down hill.. leads the fans to ask, was it Coach Miles that was the good coach, or was it Coach Fisher and Coach Pelini?
Saban had his bad times too.. 2002 Arkansas, 2004 Iowa, UAB.. just off the top of my head.
I'd still rather Nick Saban as a coach over Les Miles. I've never really been a fan of Les Miles.. He can recruit, thats about it. Les Miles was a offensive lineman in college, that should be his specialty, yet our offensive line has been unimpressive lately. Saban is known for defense, hard to argue he hasn't put some impressive defensives together.
2005 and 2006 teams were very good teams and could have easily been in the National Championship, but weren't. 2007 looked like the same after Miles lost to Arkansas, he got lucky that a lot of things happened to put us there. We had too much talent each of those years not to be competing. Miles doesn't utilize talent.

So you answer a question with a question. Well, you proved you're a Liberal. So your question regarding Social Security is "No need to". Obama has killed that for you. But aren't his immigrant jokes just so funny?
I'll take the coach that won the most at LSU.

why are all the miles lovers so butthurt that saban left us?
i'll take the guy who inherited a team that lost 15 games in '98 and '99 and turned it into a national power, not that guy who inherited a national power
i'm content with miles for now, but if you ask who i want coaching my team, it's saban, no question.

Yep..those 48 wins by Saban, really created LSU Football, the other 660+ Wins were just for "Show.
I mean with Josh Reed, Toefield & Dom Davis..surprising Saban the brick layer himself could put up points..Maybe it was the 3 NFL QBs, or complete LBer Corp he inerited?

wow. you can't acknowledge that the LSU football program was in bad shape when Saban got here?

Bad shape? LSU needed a Defensive Coordinator, that would allow tackling. I think Gerry told the "Powers that be" to shove it, when they started telling him who to hire. Thus relinquishing the LSU job.
His recruiting was top notch, though. No real question about that.
The 1999 LSU Football Team took out a fairly highly ranked Arky team with only a position coach leading the charge...

To answer your question, because it doesn't appear anyone else did, yes, it was on the news in other parts of the state. I was in Baton Rouge last night and saw it on WAFB.

Jesus man.
Are you equating Gerry Dinardo to Nick Saban?
Did you escape from a mental institution?

To Sammich. I bet your eagerly awaiting December 2012. You clearly are a person who would believe the world is going to end.

Heck No! Gerry destroyed Saban in a Bowl game. There was nothing equal about them.
