Nor do I.

Did you even read the whole conversation?

I was more or less poking fun at him saying that OSU is back in the Cotton where they were when Les left. Okay, great...you're back in the Cotton.

That was Les Miles pinnacle at OSU...I am confused? We are talking OSU not LSU. Les couldn't get anywhere on his own. He needed LSU's status created by Nick Saban.

I don't understand what you are talking about here, respectfully. We are talking about the status of OSU now vs Leslie era. They are equal, imo. I can see why they would not care he is gone. They are no worse off without him and he never won big time games (OK twice is it). Why would they care if a mediocre coach leaves and they get another?

The point I was trying to make was that OSU fans never embraced Les Miles even when he won the occasional big game. I think it was mostly his abrasive/bizarre personality but he did have some success. Whereas Mike Gundy played QB at OSU and the fans wanted him the be the HC from the get go. Also, T. Boone was never high on Les but that's another story.

Saban is right. The media has a short memory. Nebraska and Texas are better than Auburn and Tennessee and Bama could have lost both of those games easily. If Bama does not prepare Teaxas has the athletes to beat Bama. If they come out like the did vesus Tennessee Texas will beat Bama. That said I don't think Bama will lose. I also think LSU will lose to Bama again next year again, but that is why you play the games.

LSU should not rip the cotton bowl because the team in the game Ole Miss (#5 SEC) has owned us the last 2 years with 2 wins. Bama has also owned us so there is no reason to kick us while we are down. I don't see LSU challenging Bama anytime soon for a West title. From what I see LSU fans are just fine with a 8-4 or 9-3 Cotton Bowl or Cap One Bowl
