I wouldn’t mind LSU reducing from 102,300 to like 100k or like 98k if that means a big massive Jumbotron screen and more suites. Those West and east upper decks could be reduced for sure.

The days of 110,000 seat stadiums are on the decline IMO.

The younger generation isn't as interested in football, and especially not attending it live. It sucks.

We are doing the same. Even with the new South EZ we still don't have enough suites to keep up with demand. We can't get anybody in the stands, but can't build suites fast enough.

Georgia is adding new field level suites to the east end zone. At one time I though UGA would try to expand Sanford Stadium to get close to 100,000, but it just doesn't make sense anymore.

Yeah UGA definitely should not expand capacity. The field level suites is a damn good idea. In between 90 and 100k is the perfect size for an SEC Big6 team.

Well, they expanded it once and it threw off the symmetry of the stadium. The problem for UGA is they're often land-locked, and when it comes to expanding facilities, they have to get creative. Sanford Stadium is built right in the middle of campus, instead of out in an open area with a lot of parking. I'm not even sure they could expand capacity without destroying the look of the stadium completely and spending a ridiculous sum of money doing it. The only way they could was in the west end zone, but that can't be done, as the new facilities have been built there.

I have never been myself but it seems like Sanford is perfect the way it is. If anything they could add more suites. Y’all have a traditional SEC venue and I’d hate to see it get ruined by being over sized like some others in our league.
