Obviously the players have to be developed or your team is still gonna suck (ie Texas), that is why Nick Saban has 7 Natties and makes 10 million or so dollars per year, and why Kirby is building a Juggernaut at UGA.

Recruiting isn’t important to schools that don’t do it well. If they actually pulled in a top 10 class they’d never stop bragging about it.
