Reality Check for the Lacy Haters

This is mainly for the Alabama fans who think that TJ Yeldon is gonna come in and take over Lacy's job based on the fact that he had one good spring game going against our 2nd and 3rd string defense.
It's also for Rival fans who act like Lacy is gonna be a big step down from Ingram and Richardson.
1.I hear this one a lot "Lacy isn't as talented as Ingram or Richardson".This statement is absurd for a couple of reasons, coming out of high school Ingram was a 3 star RB ranked as the 58th best RB in his class, Lacy was a 4 star RB, ranked the 22nd best RB in his class, he is every bit as talented as Ingram.
2.Lacy has around 150 carries so far in his career at Alabama so let's compare his stats on his first 150 carries to what Richardson and Ingram had done through around 150 carries.
Ingram's first 143 carries - 728 yards 5.1 yards per carry, 12 tds.
Trent Richardson's first 145 carries - 751 yards 5.2 yards per carry, 8 tds.
Eddie Lacy's first 151 carries - 1,180 yards, 7.2 yards per carry, 13 tds.
Those acting like Lacy isn't close to as talented as Ingram or Richardson, are gonna be in for a rude awakening this year.

First off, this is so Bama centric it belongs somewhere else.
Secondly, Ingram was so overrated it was unbelievable. The Bama hype machine robbed Suh of a Heisman and Ingram spearheaded the choke job against Cam Newton.
Richardson is also spare.
Alabama running backs are a product of the offensive line. Nothing else. They aren't special.

Lacy is a beast. I'm concerned about his durability. Kid seems to always have a bum wheel. Man if he can stay on the field and get 20-25 carries per game, he'll set school records.

It's also for fans of other schools who act like Lacy is gonna be a big step down from Ingram or Richardson so it just isn't Alabama centric, seems like there is a thread on here every few days with some rival fan talking about how Bama's running game is gonna fall off this year and talking about Lacy not being as talented as Ingram or Richardson.

I actually had a fellow tell me Tyler Love would start last year and he was adamant he should have played in more than 2 games after the season was over.

Guess I've missed where rival fans are starting numerous threads talking shite about Lacy. I think it's common knowledge that UA has enough talented horses that someone is gonna end up being a household name.
