We started Nikhazi Fridays the last two years, this year he was injured early and moved Hogland to that role. Supposedly that was for right, lefty, right match-up the rest of the weekend. With Hog out, Bianco is moving Nik back to Fridays

SEC Only
Nik 1.99 era 5-1 record
Hog 2.77 era 2-2 record

The other guys have decent records but terrible ERAS

We obviously weren't scoring Fridays against SEC aces

eh doesn't really matter cause doug is the only SP that we have that gives us a chance. so you gotta decide if you would rather win game one or two hypothetically. Either way were big fricked

Nikhazy has been at his best in swing games. I would prefer to keep him there if it were earlier in the season. I think in a regional, as a two seed, we’d rather give Doug the ball first against a quality three. So I’m ok with it.

Winning the first game is really important but even if you sandbag the first and go for the next two you still have to be better than the other team overall for it to average out in your favor.

IMO you always do whatever you can to take game one.
