Yes and no. I thought fat Phil was the answer but after looking back at pics of him he is closer to Sam Pittman than he is Elko. Elko is a different kind of morbidly obese.

Americans are fatter than they used to be. I bet Philly was around the same spot on the spectrum for his time as Elko is today.
