most of the tailgating is pretty good, but it goes way down hill during the afternoon for night games. 100,000+ drunk cajuns and nolaites in one area can be a site.

We're the two biggest drinking fan bases in the SEC so sure they're plenty of fights, but plenty of drink sharing too. Out of everywhere I've been I've been treated the best and worse in BR.

One of my former roommates lives in Mountain Brook now. Nice place. He hates being around all of the Bama fans though

That's awesome, +1000 for you. MB is an extremely nice area (which you surely know.) Im hoping to move back to Homewood some day.

As far as the fans you got into an argument with, they were in the wrong and were probably retards. Doesn't mean the whole fan base is like that.
its those events that leave the impression of ole miss. I know it was probably just isolated. we can go full circle and you can say I was treated like crap in baton rouge and have the same perception

You dont really encounter much of the white trash Bama fans in the Bham suburbs, esp Mt. Brook

Just like every time I've been to BR. Everyone is always willing to eat and drink together. I just don't see where the whole "a-hole" LSU fans thing comes from. I guess it's just like the grove. If you are being a dick, expect to be fricked with...

I wouldn't say that, simply because I know how the large majority of your fanbase is hospitable and nice to other fans. Just like ours. Don't let a few bad apples ruin the whole harvest...

Had no problems at all with your fanbase last year. Shared their drinks in the grove with me and were very very cool in the stadium. Very respectful...

i agree brah. we have some good fans, but good god we can be obnoxious as a whole for those 7pm games.
