I fail to see how the area around LSU's campus is as "good as it gets" simply b/c it isn't listed in a list of the nations's worst 15

You have the river to the west, the lakes to the east, the golf course to the SE, a nice neighborhood to the SW, condos and shopping to the north, and million dollar homes across the lakes.

your whole "rational" argument is that BR is better than Oxford because NOLA is better than Memphis.

Link? Or is that all you bothered to read? NM, I know the answer.

It's a campus we're talking about, and you're comparing it to a city?

Do you not see anything wrong with only counting parts of a town? Every big city has good parts in it. It doesnt mean the town as a whole is a good town.

Conversely, it doesn't mean the town as whole is a bad town.

BR is still better than Oxford. especially if you're not Greek. That must be hell on earth, being GDI in Oxford, MS.

no, there are million dollar house, shopping, fine restaurants, bla bla bla right next to where JSU plays in the Belhaven area of Jackson. Thats a campus. It doesnt make Jackson a good college town, nor does LSU having a nice area around their campus makes BR a good college town

It certainly is preferable to having bad areas near the campus. Ask USC about that. There's a reason the Trojans put up a ten foot iron fence all around their campus, and it wasn't looks.

My cousin is GDI and elisha on here is GDI and they both love Oxford. Stop acting like you know what youre talking about. You and a few LSU posters are the the only ones who think BR is better than Oxford. Everyone that isnt biased and other LSU posters all know that Oxford is a better college town.

BR isnt a college town
BR is dangerous
BR is gross
BR is full of people who dont brush their teeth
BR blows
BR

well of course it doesnt. Are you now arguing that BR is a better college town than LA? I'll agree with there for similiar reasons that Oxford is better than BR

I think Oxford is better than BR. Compare BR to Montgomery or Jackson. Different towns. Although, I still think Oxford is around 6th best in the SEC.

Amazing, he agrees with me on something.

Link? South Central LA isn't all of LA, no more than North Baton Rouge is all of Red Stick. South Central happens to be where the USC campus is located. LSU happens to be located in one of the nicest, if not the nicest, areas of the city.

Not my fault if they love cow-tipping.

You first. There's more to do in Red Stick, bottom line. And if you run out of things to do in BR, you can drive to NOLA, which beats any destination close to Oxford.

And our food >>> yours.

Obviously your definition of a city is not the actual city, but specific parts that better your argument. If you dont see anything wrong with this then there isnt any point to continue this argument.
