I have a wife and 3 daughters so I get this perspective, truly. But as a 3rd party here, this likely costs him his nfl career and money and I don’t see what 6-20 years due for him that the first 5 don’t?

Uh Jacobs totaled out a car going at a high speed as well. He didnt kill anyone but injured people and he was drinking. So youre the fricking idiot

It's not about him. This isn't about punishment to affect behavioral change. It is about a more complete feeling of justice for those left behind; albeit, no matter the extent of the punishment, it will not be enough to fill the void.
