Yeah, me too. I'm not sure if they ever officially stated why he didn't play, hinting at presumably either injury or COVID.
I tend to believe there are also other reasons some players don't get a lot of snaps while the cameras are rolling.
Milroe appeared to be 100% fine during the (closed) scrimmage the previous weekend.

Damn, didn't even realize that Brennan got injured. Hate it for the guy. shite luck. At least y'all have Max Johnson. Dudes got some moxy.

I would assume if the injury happened early it would be Tyson (Bear's relative). But I would expect Milroe to take over eventually. Tyson looked rough as hell in the spring game, which I know is not always the best indicator. But if Bryce young goes down, we would be in trouble against the better teams.
