It USED to be #12, and it was for National Championships...now its #13. ESPN Changed the helmets on the Gameday set right after we beat Texas.

Thats one form of houndstooth, by HT is a form of plaid where the boxes arent square, like the two hats have, that you said arent HT.

I heard one was a painting and that's the dispute. 4-5 pictures have been shown that ARE real and houndstooth.
I'm not saying that Bear Bryant didn't wear plaid ones, because he did. But Johnny Cash didn't really only wear black either. Yet what is his trademark?

I've never understood the houndstooth appeal. Is it because of the significance of who it represents? You can't tell me outside of that it's an attractive design. It looks like a really bad argyle sweater to me.
