We're being called bigots and klan supporters. Pardon our sensitivity to the matter.

HERE IS A FACT FOR EVERYONE: Ole Miss has the 2nd highest percentage of black students in the Southeastern Conference. If Ole Miss were this grand racist institution that most of you detractors like to pretend it is, then that wouldn't be the case; black students wouldn't enroll there. Yes, it is that simple.

Bobby Zimmerman's always "stuck inside a mobile with the Memphis Blues again". The guy's from New York.

Now if he ever does a song about Hootie...

All rhetoric. Just as the perception is Mallett is Meth, Ole Miss is

Embrace the label.

Don't fault us because your perceptions are misguided, biased, and the product of a severe case of butthurt.

Misguided? Nope.

Here...I will post a pic of Ole Miss

You post a pic of Mallett doing Meth. In front of Old Main if you have it.

The subject school in the documentary is in the county adjacent to Ole Miss. 50 miles away, in Charleston. Nice try

Charleston is a world away from Oxford.
It isn't the county adjacent to Oxford either.
Charleston is Morgan Freeman's hometown.

I know because my mother's side of the family is from there.
It's a rough rough place, and the racism is sad. But goes both ways. I had a great aunt and an uncle murdered a few years back in nearby webb. Someone just came into their house and murdered them. She was an elderly old lady, and he was a man of about 40, but deaf and mute. Somebody just came into their house and murdered them. The suspects were never found. I don't even know if there were any.
Emmit Till drowned in the Tallahatchie river, if I'm not mistaken.

Anyways, Charleston and the whole delta is a sad place, but comparing Oxford to Charleston is like comparing Fayetteville and some place in the Arkansas delta. They are just so much different that it isn't anywhere close to fair to put them in the same boat.

I get your point though. I just thought I'd be picky and show off a little bit.

I love Bob Dylan and I even love the song Oxfordtown. A lot of things, when observed with a few decades of hindsight, have a completely new meaning than they were likely originally intended to have. When Dylan wrote the song, it was a story about a violent struggle in Oxford over civil rights. When listened to now, however, it comes off as a story seemingly to bizarre to be true.

First of all, I've said nothing about Mallett and Meth. Second of all, that comparison is bullshite. Those people aren't Ole Miss players nor students. Hell, they're not even alumni of the university. They're a neutral party who came to our campus to protest AGAINST Ole Miss.

Did your dense-arse skull get that? The Klan protested AGAINST Ole Miss doing something that, in their eyes, goes against what they stand for. Hell, as far as I can tell, the Klan is totally fine with all of the decisions the University of Arkansas makes.

The University of Arkansas: Totally fine with the KKK since 18-whenever.

You, of course!

My point still remains. But go ahead and hang your hat on your demographic triumph because it truly is something to be proud of.

And by association, whatever happened in Charleston you endorse and embrace. My perception of you and my label of all Ole Miss fans is now justified. Correct?

I mean, you guys label a kid, so you and your family are fair game... That is the new rule.

Posting this picture is like me posting a picture of Ryan Mallet having meth forced down his throat.

Here are some articles on the event. Read up, become informed.
