They have good and bad fans, but I have noticed their sidewalk fans tend to be a bit older than usual.

They are a more laid back fan base. All of the ones I know are good people.

Most of them are ok, but the bad ones are the worst of the worst.

Another question

Are there a lot more South Carolina fans than Clemson fans since USC is the state's flagship school?

Also from my experience with both fansbases, the Clemson girls were cooler than the USC girls and the USC guys were cooler than the Clemson guys.

don't get me wrong. there are some cool Clemson folks. i have a lot of friends that went there. but as a whole, their fanbase reminds me of Tennessee. Clemson also has a lot of northern students from PA & NJ.

Never thought of that about Clemson girls before, but you do make a decent observation. Clemson girls do come down to Columbia to get laid by real men, SC men. And I know a lot of former Clemson girls married to Gamecock men who had no problem converting to Carolina. And, I hate to admit this but my wife did her undergraduate stuff at Clemson, did her graduate stuff at Columbia College ... so yeah, you are probably right about that to some degree the more I think about it - Clemson girls are cool for the most part. SC girls are pretty and all that, but they can be kind of snotty sometimes. Even my daughters. The sorority system at Carolina turns them into snoots.

Clemson males = sheep humpers, all of 'em.

And yes, there are far more Gameccoks than taterheads. Our system is much larger, we have a much larger alumni base. Their fans are pretty much limited to the sheep and cow-humper counties up around Pickens, Liberty, etc.

Both fanbases are very boring and don't bring much to the table
