Congrats to SEC baseball. Cheer for all the teams all the way, but as a student in the SEC, no one cares about baseball honestly. Most all the students don't even know half the players if they are ordering drinks beside them in the bars. It's football or nothing honestly.

It speaks volumes that Alabama fans simply cannot handle any other school having success other than them so they run like moths to a flame to try to poo poo accomplishments of someone else and try to minimize the importance of that sport like somehow they are the arbiters of the subject because something is no big deal in Birmingham, Alabama that must mean that's the case everywhere but then in another thread will tout how compelling softball is. So fricking pathetic

It's obvious you did not intend this thread to be for baseball fans only. You declared LSU baseball the "king of major SEC sports" which it clearly is not. You opened the window for football and basketball fans with that statement, since those 2 are the only major sports.
Hell, baseball's significance is so low, the NCAA won't even let teams give a full scholarship to the players. They have to divide up 11.7 between the whole team.
