He is 64. His tax situation changes dramatically at age 65 if he retires in AL as it stands under current law.
And if $150k/ year as a guaranteed retirement income stream is something to shite on, then you obviously are in the 1%. Congratulations, you are a baller.
ETA: Hopefully one stream of income in retirement. That’s a hefty pension. The “lotto mentality” is a huge part of the problem in the USA.
