Watson is averaging

- 1.2 INTs per game (whole season)
- 1.3 INTs per game (since October 1)
- 1.2 INTs per game (since November 1)
- 1.5 INTs per game (ACCCG & Playoff game)

- 1.4 INTs per game vs Bowl Teams
- 0.0 INTs per game vs non-bowl teams (SC State, Syracuse)

The only games he did not throw an interception were SC State, Boston College, Syracuse and Wake Forest - games in which he threw the ball 15, 25, 16 and 33 times, well below his average.

Whether we take an INT or two and turn them into points (directly or via good field position) could probably determine the game.

I have made fun of folks all year who pick against Bama. Not this time. Those who pick Clemson aren't far off. This time it isn't a case of wishful thinking. I'll never pick against Bama with Saban, but I am homer. This time it isn't just somebody throwing shite against the wall to see if it sticks. There are many logical arguments for Clemson. I'll take Bama in a more defensive battle than last year. If Watson turns it into a shootout, then I am not sure Hurts can keep up. I am confident this defense will keep Watson in check. Bama 28 Clemson 24.

Kind of feels like Clemson is due, with Watson being the difference this year.

Washigton game plan was very vanilla, no jet sweeps, no screens, no quick outs to Ridley and Stewart and little downfield passing. It is puzzling since we had been doing these things succesfully all year. That being said, Saban will pull out all the stops to tie the Bear. Bama 38 Clemson 24

I want Bama to win. I truly do. I don't think I could handle listening to these morons in upstate SC if they did.

However, as a rational football person. It will come down to the wire. And Watson is one hell of a QB who's like 30-3 in his career and has carried his guys into the championship game two years in a row, this year with his arm and not nearly as much help from the oline and running game. Bama has a bunch of drama going on in the program right now and Saban is being pressed by the media, plus the tFr QB who played like complete garbage against uDub.

Realistic prediction: Watson exposes alabama's secondary again to around 300yds, 4TD and Clemson wins it 35-21.

What I want to happen: Watson gets sacked 6 times, throws 4 picks, and Bama wins 45-7.

Unfortunately I know that second one probably won't happen.

Saban has never lost in the title game. I'll go with Bama.

As a Bama fan, I don't think this is gonna go well for us. Just being unbiased, Clemson "feels" like the better team right now. But maybe Washington's D is good and Ohio State was overrated this year? Who knows.
