How about neither. Didn't Michael Vick prove what happens to running quarterbacks in the NFL? If one of them does, Dak Prescott has better size and strength so I would go with him over Nick.

I understand the "pro scouting" aspect of analyzing the throws

I don't. That analysis basically said that Marshall's interceptions didn't count because they were tipped by the defensive line. Don't NFL teams have defensive linemen????

But Dak will have 2 loses and will be watching Auburn play in the SECCG along with Heisman voters prior to ballots being due.

Maybe, but that is a completely different argument than the one you used to start the thread.

@vinnieiyer: Top graded QBs so far in 2014, according to @PFF 1) #Panthers Cam Newton 2) Aaron Rodgers 3) Philip Rivers 4) Andrew Luck 5) Matt Ryan

PFF also posted this.

Cam Newton was deemed a "running QB" but has more passing yards through his first four years than any other QB in NFL history and is graded the #1 QB in 2014.

Unfortunately for Dak he's closer to Tebow than Cam but a dual threat QB can thrive in the NFL. Marshall compares himself to Russell Wilson and I'm interested to see how this plays out in the NFL draft.

*Also, Vick took the Falcons to the Super Bowl while Matt Ryan struggles to make the playoffs

Thats a good point but staying healthy may be a struggle as RGIII has shown. Both are great athletes so im sure they will have an NFL future regardless.
