Didn't say regular season. I said last 7. Get it right.
Suga, you think the freshman 0U is going to trot out o's better than C-Mike who was a 5 star BTW and Cyrus Gray who was listed on an NFL draft site as the best Sr in the nation regardless of position?
Get real, homey

I'm not reading all this horseshite, but I do find it pretty typical for Aggies to claim they were much better as the year ended.
Guess what? Every team got better down the stretch. Its how every single season is in college football.
Fact remains, A&M got boo-fooed by LSU, who we beat a few weeks prior.
The Rant's Aggie fans are both stupid and annoying. (Except for Ball Gravy. Errbody lub some Ball Gravy)

I'm not going to get in a pissing match, but to say A&M "doesn't have anywhere near the skill talent that Arkansas does" is being extremely biased and ignorant.
Both teams have a lot of talent at the skill positions, and if you watched the game last year and against LSU, it wasn't A&M's skill positions that lost them the game. It was inside LB play and Turnovers.
Cyrus Gray, Christine Michael, Jeff Fuller, EZ Nwachkuwu, Kenric McNeal and Ryan Swope are all future NFL guys. Three of those are likely first rounders.
Oh, and Rivals tends to disagree with your statement.

One guys opinion... I'm just saying stating an opinion as if it is fact makes you lose credibility, as if anyone on an internet forum has any to begin with....

You did not say post season either. I would assume you were not going to include a blowout loss in your argument.

Disagree.
Gray > Davis
Fuller = Childs but both are better than the other at particular parts of their game. Fuller is more physical. Childs has more explosion out of the cuts. Fuller is a better go up and get it guy. Childs is more shifty and a faster deep threat.
Wilson > Tannehill

LINK
You can find links all day long.
The fact remains that your guys have not put up near the numbers against the competition. The Arkansas 4 some of WRs have nearly 4k career receiving yards. Do your guys have half of that? Likely not.
You can argue in circles with me until you are blue in the face, but the fact remains that Arkansas Skill Players 2, Texas AM skill players 0

They only list seniors on that. Knile = junior

Thank you Kirk Herbstreit.

Do you really think our RB and WRs were the reason we lost the last 2 games to Arkansas??

They have 6400 career yards combined. 5400 if you just take the last 2 years into account.

What people fail to recognize when comparing career stats of a player is the types of offense they play in.
Mike Sherman has always been a run first to set up the pass. Petrino has aired it out A LOT more than Sherman has in their tenures.
Texas Tech QBs under Leach almost always led the nation in passing. Still doesn't change the fact that they were not coveted by the NFL and other programs.
I'd take Mallett ten times out of ten over Graham Harrell or any other Tech QB, but he never had as many passing yards as them.
It's an empty argument.

Again...aTm has only averaged 112.5 rushing yards against Arkansas in the two games. Who do we blame?
Why did you lose? If it was not the RB & WRs fault, who is to blame? Who scores the points? Who carries the ball?

Huge misconception of Petrino's pro style offense.
In the two games prior to this years game, here is a breakdown.

I can't have a rational conversation with people this dumb. I'm done with this thread. Keep thinking what you want and we can bump this thread in October

Dumb?
aTm has not scored enough points to win the game two years in a row, yet you do not want to place any blame on your RBs or WRs?
You are calling me dumb?

Please post yearly statistics. Everyone ran more against A&M the past 3 years due to lack of depth and talent at the ILB and DT positions.
I may be wrong, but I think you'll see your QBs with a lot more pass attempts than Tannehill or JJ.
Yes, Sherman had JJ airing it out 58 times in 2009, but then again we were playing catch up from the 2nd quarter on.

I'm really glad we don't have a rivalry going with arky. I mean this place would probably melt down if there was an actual rivalry. Talk about denial.
