First time is a fluke, second time is a coincidence, third time and beyond is a tradition.

Ok I'm all flamed out. You guys will probably beat us this year if we play.

I have never seen a fanbase that tries to "hold" other fanbases feet to the fire over their failures but buries their heads in the sand when it comes to their own.

Its fricking pathetic.

Arkansas Football Postseason History = Missouri Basketball Postseason History

Let that settle for a second. This actually isn't a flame but rather a pretty substantial motion.

You are comparing apples to oranges.

The bottom line is this:

We are and always have been better at both football and basketball than Mizzou.

What else do you want to talk about?

You left out a part:

"We are and always have been better at both football and basketball than Mizzou except for the years we have collectively wiped from our memories because; "hay, those years dont count silly!"

Mizzou fans, do you have a traditional rivalry in football? Is it Kansas, or ???

Kansas is their only real rival IMO. OU and Nebraska were not so much rivals as teams that used to drop by unannounced at 2AM to plow MU when nothing better presented

If you do have one, will the teams continue the series in the future?

Kansas is pissed off that MU left the conference and refusing to continue the series best I can tell. Too bad because the games they played in KC were good for both programs to raise their prestige in the region.

If Kansas is going to refuse to play them I think MU should schedule ISU, Iowa, KSU or Colorado to play "neutral" site games in Kansas City. Those games help Missouri remain more relevant in KC.

MU also played their other sorta rival Illinois in STL for a fairly long series recently. Illinois had no interest in renewing that because they lost too many of the games - but I think MU would also benefit by playing teams like KY, Tenn, Vandy, or Northwestern in STL. MU is in the middle of a state split between Cardinals baseball and Chiefs football. Whatever they can do to stay in the minds of both major cities will serve them well.

No.

Mizzou has won conference titles in Basketball.

Which years has Arkansas won SEC titles in football?

Actually, the Nebraska game turned into a pretty good rivalry the last ten years it was played.

OU has had our number an that never was a rivalry because they owned us consistently.

Football conference championship games and basketball conference tournaments are in the grey area of postseasons, you're playing with your regular season conference foes but yet its after the regular season. The clear black and white postseason are bowl games and the NCAA tournament.

Arkansas chokes in bowl games.
Mizzou chokes in the NCAAT.

I went to several of those games. I was actually embarassed for the MU fans when they stormed the field after beating a subpar Nebraska team.

You are probably not a rival when your fans storm the field after beating a bad team. What you are saying is you are still pissed off about how much they owned you in the past

Moving the goal posts during discourse is an art form among the Hog faithful.

Well done.

Not moving anything, quit assuming my arguement. Mizzou chokes in the NCAAT, Arkansas chokes in bowl games. You're deflecting a lot more than I could even be considered changing parameters.

Meh. You are shoe horning to fit your opinion.

The Nebraska/Mizzou game was good for a while from both sides.
