You've predicted Mississippi State to lose in every prediction thread. What is your prediction for Mississippi State?

Maybe he might be hoping for that to really happen to MSU.

If this happens Mullen needs to be canned immediately

Basically the SEC we face: UK we add to the long winning streak, UT is lacking players, Moo St will be very tough, LSU is missing NFL players on defense + starting new QB, Vandy is Vandy (but I expect tough game in Nashvegas), UGA lost ALL FOUR starting LBers plus a lot of other NFL talent and will slip, Mizzou at home is a win when we pick off 4 passes and Lock gets sacked 5 times...offense alone doesn't get it, USC at home in a tough battle and the only optimism is that it is in the Swamp, the girls school is falling apart.

You're giving Straws a run for his money as the biggest UF homer on here.

Reel has pumped up every UF coach as the 2nd coming for years. He said the same thing about WM, Mac and now Mullen

They both post with their heart . It’s 10+ wins every year and then excuses for why the team sucks.

UF will be lucky to win 2 games. We're awful. We should just f*cking give up and hire Joe Alleva and Coach O.

Turn off the lights and it don't matter

Sure I am a glass half full guy...but there are a lot of reasons for my optimism...we have a lot of experience returning, 2 WR transfers who will make a difference and a receiver coach who will make a difference along with HC who has inspired already, a new S&C coach that we needed badly.

It isn't just my Gator passion driving the bus..if you really understand college football...there is a rule that cant be denied: the team that outrushes its opponents wins 89% of the time and the other 11% is either because of turnover margin skewed, close edge in yardage etc etc. UF has failed in this category. Its hard to win when you are facing third and longs and because we have all starters returning on the OL I expect better rushing and we do have a stable of backs.

Last year we lost 2 games to LSU & A&M by a combined 3 points...3 points!!! What it did was hurt us mentally and the troubles with Mac scuttled everything. The suspensions didn't help and the team folded.

That was last year. This a different team with an energetic staff. So I am only predicting what I see as a strong possibility. Laugh if you want, but we will see soon enough.

We're playing Missouri at home.

Maybe meant to say Missouri will win against Florida no matter where the game is being play at. ;)

Wish you luck....

The SEC is so much better with a good Florida and Tennessee team.

I’m thinking LSU is about to make a big step this year also.

If Florida starts 7-0 I'll suck your toes.

1) Charleston Southern - W
2) Kentucky - W
3) Colorado State - W
4) @UT - W
5) @MSU - L - UF's OL is going to get shredded
6) LSU - L
7) @Vandy - W
8) Georgia - L
9) Missouri - L - UF always plays like shite after WLOCP
10) South Carolina - W - this is exactly the type of winnable game Muschamp will shite the bed and lose
11) Idaho - W
12) FSU - L

Florida is going to struggle to score all year and the defense is not what it once was.

They only won 4 games last year, so winning 7 will be a good step in the right direction. If they are really lucky, they could win 8 or 9 simply because there aren't a lot of good teams on the schedule.

With decent QB play, not good, not above average, not elite, just with decent QB play we would have beaten LSU, A&M, South Carolina and FSU. Michigan, Georgia and Mizzou were the only ones where we just gave up (all presumedly happened directly after McElwain was fired).

If we have decent QB play this year I can't see why we can't win -- unless we're missing 22 (UGA), 28 (Mizzou) SC (28 + Zaire injured in game) and 33 (FSU) scholarship players again.

Almost the entire team is coming back and we have LSU, Mizzou, SC all at the Swamp, we swap out Michigan for an FCS.

If Mullen can't win with almost an entire depth chart returning players + payers from suspension + players from transfer (top TE, 4 and 5 star WR transfers) -- he will never win and is not the guy. This is a very favorable schedule.
