I think the scandal gives the admin an out to fire him for poor on-field performance, but either way he seems like a man that knows he’s not long for this [coaching] world.

The rape allegations go above O's head, I'm confused as to why people keep thinking they will lead to his eventual firing and no one really seems to be able to articulate why they think this when asked.

Ed Os LSU demise is absolute and coming soon. Ed has been one of the luckiest men in college football history. Like a big cat he's had many lives *but* his LSU Tigercat life is about to implode. It'll take a couple of years unless he was complicit in covering up the sexual assault allegations - and if he was he'll get the Art Briles treatment and never work in college football again and he'll get sued and lose a big chunk of his cash. Otherwise, his own ignorance & incompetence will be his undoing - and quick. Ed was never HC material - the fact he's had multiple opportunities is a testament to the crazy strangeness of the way college football coaches get hired.

The sun is about the set on Ed's dream life and what comes next will break him.
