I hate to say it WG_Dawg, but I hope y'all come out swinging against Boise St. That is going to be a tough game. Good ole fashioned SEC D smack in the mouth should take care of the blue smurfs!

Not that big of a deal to win there.

don't think anyone would be surprised if any of UF, UT, USCe, or UGA won the east
Agree except for UT. I don't see any way in hell they win it.

But the safe money right now is on USCe if Garcia comes back
There's no if, he WILL be back so they should be the hands down favorite.

You're right. It's kind of crazy to think we have a chance when we intercept the ball and Bama still keeps possession.

Ah what the hell, I'll go ahead and put a list down.
WEST
Bama
LSU
Arkansas
Auburn
MSU
OM
EAST
USC
UF
UGA
UT
UK
Vandy
I think the UF, UGA, UT shuffle is volatile. As is Aub/MSU.

Would be an upgrade over what they have.

there are some obvious deficiencies in the program he's been running the past few years.
Absolutely. One of the biggest of those problems has been defensive coaching, and the 2 rectal cancers on the staff have now been gone for 2 years.

safe to say no OM fan will disagree with 6th in the west.
We're just hoping for 6-6

That's what I'll be watching most. Yall improved defensively last year, but CTG was a good ways down your list during your search, so as you said I'm just taking the wait-and-see approach.
I think a huge factor in your season is how your new nose tackle plays, and how the position plays when he's taking a breather.

I think the personnel on offense right now actually matches up OK with what Weis wants to do.
And he has proven at every stop as OC that he tends to use the personnel he has on offense to its greatest ability.
And Rainey is a much better fit than people give him credit for in the pro offense. He played more of a straight ahead running game in high school and was unstoppable at the highest levels of Florida HS football. He could have a big big year if he doesn't try killing any of his girl friends.
And I think the offensive line situation, once the injuries clear up over the summer, will be stronger than people think. I think Xavier Nixon will emerge this year as a possible 1st or 2nd round pick at tackle.
