Not to say that he won't play, obviously I don't know.

Supposedly he is playing per the presser

Had 2 sacks last year vs. MSU

That he did. But he's 25 pounds heavier now, has had shoulder surgery, and hasn't practiced or played in 9 months.

Key's stat line, not Tuscaloosa's IQ.

What a sick burn. Got me good.

I just think if Key plays, it will be very sparingly, and when he's in the game - MSU will do everything they can to stay away from him. It wasn't meant as an insult, and 0's across the stat line is more likely than him racking up a bunch of numbers, IMO.

Pulls hammy on first play, he gone! Okay, okay I shouldn't have even joked about that one. 2 sacks, 6 tackles and a pass knockdown.

Realistically, we will probably run a lot of short routes on that side so they can't get as creative anyway since LSU runs a 3-4. As long as he's been out, plus the shoulder, plus being heavier than normal, means his pass coverage is going to be at best rusty.

This way you keep the defense from getting creative. Any zone blitzes on that side will leave a matchup problem and a quick pass for Fitz. I'll be surprised if he sees a lot of snaps, using their next 2 games to get him up to speed is more likely.

14-20 315 2TD no picks
11 receptions 125 yds 2 TD
12 rushes 175 yds 1 TD
12 tackles, 5 sacks, 7 QB hurries, 2 picks, 1 FF, 1 FR
2 punts for 55 yd avg.
3 field goals (52, 60, 57)

Needless to say he is going to be all over the field and MSU's worst nightmare.

This is incorrect. He's been practicing every day, just in a non contact jersey

Um yeah... he handled Lamar Jackson.

But now he's pulling around a Dunlap, so we'll see.

Supposedly he has put on a good bit of pounds but hasnt lost much of his speed if any from what sources say

Based on the before/after pictures, I'd have a hard time believing that. Maybe not much difference in the 1st half, but second half I think it will definitely show. It doesn't look like the weight is muscle, so not a good sign.

Fitz isn't sitting back in the pocket and throwing the ball a ton, so I bet his numbers aren't great.

He is felt a lot more with pro-style QB.

He'll definitely chase him down from behind a few times though.

Lamar Jackson is dual threat and key destroyed him, now whether or not he is 100% that is a different story

And whether or not his added weight will impact his speed
