He’s Butch Jones 2.0.

I’d never watch football again if my team hired him. He’s an absolute clown.

I agree using carbon copy was a bit much. I will give Fleck credit for building up Western Michigan from scratch because that is something that Butch has never had to do.

Fleck built both programs from the bottom up into successful teams.

However, Minnesota was far from a complete rebuild project. Jerry Kill/Tracy Claeys laid the ground work for him. Minnesota was winning 8/9 games pretty consistently towards the end of that era. Fleck was definitely able to get them to the next level by posting an 11 win season but it wasn't like he took over a program that was only winning 5 games a year.

UT will not be competing for national championships no matter who they get. 98 was a fluke and have to back almost 50 years for the next one. They beat Arkansas on a fluke accident. They need at least 2 of their 3 rivals to be down and bama and uga aren't going anywhere for awhile

Then the bottom fell out! He went 3-4 this past season.

Couple of positive updates.

- Fleck has called a recruit's parents and told them he's not taking the Tennessee job.

- I've heard he's also told some of his staff members the same.
