True or False?
False.
God forbid we have some constructive discussion on this board.

Can't disagree with anything that you said, but I would point out that there was no way that Mitch was going to beat out Thompson last year. It simply wasn't going to happen. Thompson had a warchest of accomplishments, big moments, and had "waited his turn" to start. Mitch not beating out Thompson last year isn't an indictment on Mitch.
I don't think Cooper will beat last year's stats. But I have pretty high hopes for the offense in general this year.

We may, but I personally do not buy this. Mitch can be better than Dylan. No offense to Dylan, but he was not very good in big situations. He was a senior, and it was his times, and I respect that, but we did not lose some elite wb that cant be replaced.

--Connor Mitch leads from what I've read but he didn't beat out Dylan Thompson last year and he was no freshman. He DOES look to be a good practice player but how that translates as a possible starter is speculation at this point.
Overall, I think you give a pretty fair assessment.
Connor Mitch looks to be faster and have more arm strength and velocity than Thompson did last year. In his old age, Spurrier has gotten loyal to players that have committed themselves to the program and rewarded Dylan as such. Thompson was 5 year player, a good guy and a team leader. That's why he got the nod in front of Mitch. Personally, I'm not worried about Mitch's physical tools, he's got them.
That won't be the issue (if there are any). The issue will be can SC put together a line that can protect him long enough to make the throws he needs to make, and what Mitch's decision making process will be. After 3 years he should know Spurrier's offense. I do think that, minus a speed burner like Byrd, that SC's receiving corps as a whole will be better, albeit inexperienced. But Cooper only had 3 catches for 54 yards as a freshman. So take all of it with a grain of salt.

False. South Carolina won't be good enough this year for him to risk an injury.

Probably won't duplicate all of those stats, but HBC will put the ball in his hands as much as possible. That is a guarantee! Since he will be the focus of most defensive coordinators this year, look at our TE's to have big years this especially in the red zone.

Just realistic.
He is a great player, and his numbers could be better, but the quarterback situation there is less than encouraging.

Why?
Mitch as a RS FR last year wasn't going to beat out a 5th year Sr with starting experience. Mitch just went through his 3rd spring, he was an EE out of HS. Mitch was a record setting QB in HS in NC as well. Speaking of HS Mitch had more game/season/career TD's, game/season/career passing yards, game/season/career completions than any QB on UGA's roster.
If you think our situation is less than encouraging, what do you think of UGA's?

Do you even Brice Ramsey bro? He's got Stafford's arm, Johnny Football's elusiveness in the pocket and Mike Vick's speed when he pulls it down to run it.
As for the thread, true. People game planned for AJ, Alshon, Julio, Amari...didn't matter. You can't hide talent.

Ah, got it. UGA's untested QB is better than USC's untested QB because it's UGA.
This is good enough for Tony Barnhart, so I'll allow it.

I was joking. I don't know shite about any of our guys except prior to G-Day I thought it would be Park. Shows how far off I was.

Nice, an actual football thread vs "you suck" and "I did your momma" stuff.
Cooper is an outstanding player and should get close to those numbers.
