Doak Walker Award (RB) - Travis Etienne, Clemson

That was awarded to Wisconsin's Jonathan Taylor before the season even began

Mackey Award (TE) - Harrison Bryant, FAU

I can never take that award seriously again after Jace Sternberger, who had better stats than the three finalists combined and was 1st team all-american, wasn't even a finalist in 2018.

quote:

Ray Guy Award (Punter) - Sterling Hofricther, Syracuse

This award is also invalid because Braden Mann, who is 3rd in the nation in net punting, has the NCAA CAREER AVERAGE IN NET PUNTING, and won the award last year, wasn't even a semi-finalist.

Yall were playing comeback.....gotta throw down by 20

True, but it doesn't mean that you stop playing defense. If I recall correctly, y'all were down by 20 when we played last year, and you still threw for under 200...

That being said, Stingley is only going to get better in the next two years...by the time he's a junior, he could be even better than PP7...

I doubt Burrow does a clean sweep like that
They usually tend to recognize someone else

Stingley probably should have been a finalist over Delpit (due to injury issues this season)

Yeah, though Burrow is more than worthy of every QB award, it wouldn't surprise me if the one for senior QBs (Johnny Unitas) went to Jalen Hurts...
