I freakin love Pete Golding at Ole Miss. I understand why Alabama wanted him gone, but he is fantastic for us.

To help go 10-2 with the LBs we had... great job Golding.

The thing is that Ole Miss is accustomed to their defense doing the #2 type game against bad offenses rather than good ones. So if he stops the bad ones, Kiffin will take care of the rest.

The big thing with Golding is Kiffin and Leach were the only offensive coaches he had some success against in conference play. He also consistently got shite on by Jimbo Fisher. The problem is Leach has passed away and Kiffin is his employer. So I surely would not expect him to punch above his weight class anymore.

Not one single Bama fan is butthurt about losing Golding. If he'd had a buyout, a GoFundMe limited to just Bama fans would have raised enough to pay it so he'd go to Ole Miss (or anywhere else) in about 30 minutes.

Having said that, OP clearly must have been drunk because there's no other explanation for this weird flex.

Shutting down Mississippi State is literally the sole thing Golding did exceptionally well on a consistent basis at Alabama. In his 4 years, they scored 7, 0, 9, and 6 points. It's not a shock at all that he did it again this year against a really bad State offense.

We only gave up 7 points

But OM only scored 17... How much better an offensive mind is Tommy Rees than Kiffin &Co
