This century? Since 2000. Granted tu has won national championships in a number of sports. They have done well. Math is hard for some it seems. For A&M to be 4th or 5th that means that Tech or TCU or Baylor or someone has won more? If just the mens programs this century for national championships in different sports, A&M still isn't 4th or 5th. Also, why would you even keeping up with those other two things you mentioned. Not judging. You do you.

Truth hurts.

These idiots went from the Big 12 to the SEC and they think they will somehow become Texas, Florida or LSU.
I think not.

You are trying to change the narrative after the fact. YOU said sports.

I said NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. Only referring to NCAA Championships. So Quidditch doesn't count.

But I understand why you fail to acknowledge that, or if you choose to deem NCAA Championships as obscure in terms of straining to make your point. Strange by most accounts. But I understand.

Florida is the gold standard for athletics in public schools right now. The only reason they don't dethrone Stanford in the Directors' Cup is that Stanford stacks the deck in their favor.

No other public school is even in the same solar system as Florida in terms of overall athletic prowess.

You already know that aggy lives off in their own fantasy.

Surprise they actually use this board. They would feel much safer on TexAgs.
They can tell everyone how Texas is a nobody and they are so great.

Last 5 years

Florida - 8 National Championships
UCLA - 6 National Championships (2 water polo, 2 beach volleyball)
t.u. - 4 National Championships (all men's swimming)

Last 10 years

Florida - 19 National Championships
UCLA - 14 National Championships
t.u. - 7 National Championships

Last 20 years

UCLA - 38 National Championships
Florida - 25 National Championships
t.u. - 14 National Championships

I can see UCLA, but Florida left dildo-u in their wake a long time ago.

Let me help you with reading comprehension:

Florida has more national titles (8) over the last 5 academic years than t.u. has (7) over the last 10 academic years.

Selective data.

National Championships don't judge an entire athletic department.
Directors Cup does.
Texas finished ahead of Florida.

Texas and UCLA have way more combined NC than Florida anyway.

I simply asked you specifically about the women's sports. That's all.

You said "most".

You speak as if you have some knowledge. Is it so hard for you to focus on the questions asked.

Texas A&M - 11
t.u. - 7

The Directors Cup rewards programs who aren't championship caliber but are consistently above average in most sports.

Case in point: A&M shouldn't be in the top 20 with how poorly men's basketball and softball performed this past season.

So being elite in one sport makes up being average in a bunch.

Selective Data.

How many times in these last 10 years have you finished ahead of Texas in the Directors Cup

It awards Top 10 finishes.

More sports you are great to elite in the better you will finish.

I assume you are referring to men's swimming...a sport in which only 3 schools in your conference even participate.

You have that confused with the Capital One Cup, which only give you points if you finish in the top ten of the coaches' polls.
