While I sort of agree, I do think he would salvage a smidge of dignity by just apologizing for getting caught up in the moment.

So Miles would never throw a kid under the bus when he panicked with the clock running out and made the wrong call? He wouldn't then lie about it and blame his player? Yeah he screams fricking class to me. GTFO that pedestal.

I said earlier that I think it would be better for an apology, but the story isn't quite big enough to force the AD/BP to do so.
