Bama could play the Bills and Browns each year and the rant would complain they are not playing tough enough NFL teams

You do know that many Bama fans have grown tired of the neutral site game and have complained about OOC scheduling.

I don't give a crap if Bama keeps the neutral site game or goes home and home. I think it would be more favorable to schedule a 2nd p5 opponent (neutral site or home and home... it doesn't matter).

I am for diversity in scheduling. I love how everything is unique and the desire for everything to be uniform is silly. Different teams have different priorities and should be able to schedule to those.

That being said, if I was the NCAA College Football czar, and I had to pick a priority for what would make the overall health of the sport better and more interesting, as ESPN is hemorrhaging subscribers and more young kids are watching video game streams than college football play... I think diversity in play should be the top priority along with regional rivalries.

Now this doesn't necessarily mean just more P5 opponents, although that's the best form. I would also want more G5 and FCS matchups. Some P5 teams having rivalries with G5 teams should be embraced and some teams have tough P5 rivalries that should be embraced. Some FCS teams are even important, IMO. North Dakota State should play everybody. I think Ole Miss should play Memphis every year, but also play the Arkansas States and Middle Tennessees if they'd like to. I think South Carolina or Clemson should play the Citadel every year. I think Florida should play Florida State every year and Miami all the time but also other P5 programs.

If I could design a college football schedule I'd say everyone had to play 1 FCS team, 2 G5 teams, 2 P5 teams and 8 conference games. This isn't possible, as it would require a 13 game season and dictate that conferences couldn't have 9 games, but I think it would be incredibly healthy for the sport.
