It is pretty common to have the men's team comprised of collegiate and former collegiate gymnasts.
OU did have two guys (one current and one former) listed on the USA roster but that is a larger list than what can compete in the Olympics. (Not sure if they were alternates or what.)

Zero. That wasn’t a sport in this Olympics, otherwise OU might’ve finally taken home a medal in something

Coolest SEC story in these olympics
had to be the 110m hurdles. Grant Holloway (UF) and Daniel Roberts (UK) have been going at each other since college. The college record for the 110mh (13 flat) was in place for like 40 years. On the day Grant Holloway broke it (2019 NCCAs) and ran a 12.98, Roberts also matched the record with a 13.00. Literally Holloway had to break the record to win. Was easily the best college hurdles race ever.
Fast forward to Paris and these two took Gold and Silver. So happy for those boys!
