One of these was targeting, one wasn’t

Hint: the one that was targeting cost a team its leading tackler in the national championship with the score 28-25. I guess “leading with the crown of the helmet” is subjective. Also, I guess if you get trucked they don’t bother to call targeting.

So sick of LSU always getting the calls. Can the DOJ look into this?

One was a defenseless player.

One was not.

I’ll let you use your 2 brain cells to try and figure it out.

Jefferson was not defenseless. He had secured the catch. The rules expert explained this at the time and you can hear it if you watch the broadcast. The ruling was solely based on crown of the helmet.

Skalski hit with commentary

You were wrong and now you are backtracking. The ruling was based on leading with the crown of the helmet.

He wasn’t defenseless so you switched to launching, then you edited. He wasn’t defenseless. Watch the replay.

Securing a catch all of a sudden means a player isn’t defenseless? You’re a clown.

Watch the replay and listen, if your two brain cells can handle it.

Oh I rewatched. Just because they only talk about the crown doesn’t negate the rest of the facts of that play.

They specifically said he was not defenseless

It would’ve been targeting even if his head was up.

It would’ve been launching and helmet to helmet.

It was helmet to chest. And he wasn’t defenseless. It was all about leading with the crown. You can launch or jump to make a tackle as long as you don’t lead with the crown.

If his head was up he would’ve hit him in the helmet.

I get that all Bama can do is bring up other examples as an only defense for their tPOS shite Turner so troll on.
