Real talk, in the context of this thread. I hope some of you good State folk can look at this whole thing and show some compassion. This stuff could be potentially truly devastating, stuff like this.
I know there would be some OM fans that would rip y'all over similar stuff, but we could use some of y'alls help. I've backed State fans in certain situations, while they were minor like saying your girls were hotter than A&M or arguing on State's side against Bama and Auburn fans, and it would be cool to see some of y'all at least back off on this issue. You don't know how lucky you are to not have these perceptions that are constantly inflamed.
I know it's a lot to ask, because it's just so easy to make fun of and we're supposed to hate each other, but in the end we all share the same home and some of my best friends are State fans.
I'm truly heartbroken. This is a nightmare and I wouldn't wish it on anyone else.

Going forward, I won't flame or troll regarding this unfortunate situation. I understand the perception that this stuff puts on your university and the people of the south in general.
The whole protest thing was an unfortunate situation that shouldn't have been blown up to that magnitude. I really do hate it happened. But from here out, I won't stir the pot anymore regarding the issue.
