Maybe not exact matches, but both players got arrested right before their biggest games.
I mean, even if I was never going to get in a game, I would have behaved. Chances are he gets sent home, and misses the experience altogether.

Driving 110+ is stupid enough as it is, but I don’t understand why you would do that WHILE doing something else illegal. I get drug tests at work but I also couldn’t care less if someone smokes or not, however I think people who smoke weed forget just how easy it is to smell to someone who doesn’t. It’s one of the most easily recognizable smells and potent as hell even just from a tiny bit. Kids dumb as I was at his age

The reason I've never been arrested isn't because I haven't committed 1000's of crimes, it's because I'm not stupid. When you are riding dirty, don't drive 110mph through Andalusia. If he's that fricking stupid, he's not smart enough to learn the playbook.
The UGA players caught speeding were dumb, but they weren't stupid enough to be doing that WITH drugs in the car. Dumb, but not stupid.

It is pretty easy to use marijuana these days without the smell from an actual blunt. It’s called edibles but these guys are either too dumb to use them or they just like smoking it better. If you are smoking it, you definitely shouldn’t be driving and not expecting attention from LE. If you use an edible you shouldn’t be driving either. But an interaction with an officer is not likely to just assume you are high because there is no smell. The field test tho,,,, you’re fricked

Sounds lucky as hell if he didn't also get a speeding ticket. Easier to deal with the drug charges than reckless driving.
