See....it starts quick. Haha. This is a good example....and not a knock on you OMLandshark. People would look at us as whatever mascot we get and refer to us as that and not Rebels. The more they do that, the quicker Rebels is gone.

Youre correct. The name derives from a group of Louisiana confederate soldiers dubbed "fighting louisiana tigers" after fighting in Virginia(?). Still it is a really cool name IMO even better that we didn't just whip out the name "tigers" to be cool or distinguished.

well thats what I was told. Thats why we had to get rid of confederate flags, From Dixie with Love, and Colonel Reb because they all had ties to the confederacy. you'd be better off keeping that under wraps and just act like youre being generic or it wont be long that schools will use this against you in recruiting, shite comes out in the news, and Jesse Jackson gets involved because its a mess
