lane let's charlie call the plays, but if he sees something on the field coverage wise he whistles to change the play. he also will call plays if we are down or certain situations. they are both in the headset. he took the training wheels off last year.
if lane were to Leave , charlie would do fine offensively calling the plays.. just wouldn't have that genius mindset of Lane diverting the play after seeing the coverage
