I defintely think Ole Miss fans hate LSU more than any other opponent. When I was at LSU in 1970, myself and five buddies went to South Bend for the first ever LSU/Notre Dame game. While there, I opened a Notre Dame student newspaper and there was a full page ad that said: Go Irish, Beat LSU, Signed, Ole Miss Student Body. I don't think they would have done that for anyone else. As a side note, the interference call on Richard Picou was a bad call. The game should have ended 0-0.

You're right....because all opinions should be based on something that happened 40 years ago.

Of course we want to beat lsu every year why wouldn't we...same division and always have a good team that stands in the way to our road to atlanta. Seems stupid to not want and win that big game and thats what it is almost every year a big game.

But i do agree that i would rather beat bama this year. That was just a ridiculous comment about the whole 1-11 season bullshite how we would be happy if we just beat lsu...stupid comment

I thought they called it rivalries. Strange - someone rooting against one of their biggest rivals. The shame of it!

Ole Piss!!! And I'm sure they were wearing their crotch shorts, bow ties and comb overs rooting on an overrated Sneed!! Ole Miss will lose to Bama, Tennessee and LSU this fall. Have fun in the Liberty Bowl this year. I'm sure you'll go in large numbers since you're only an hour away!!! Geaux Tigers!!!!

At Vandy they have a big screen near the stadium where you can watch a top SEC game in progress. Sure enough the UGA/LSU game was on and a bunch of Rebel fans were there cheering for Georgia and hating on LSU. When UGA scored their go ahead TD all the Ole Miss fans yelled "LSU is over rated and finished". When Scott broke off tackle to win the game the poor Ole Miss fans looked pitiful. They just shook their head as one Rebel yelled out how much he hates LSU and Miles.

The irony here is far from subtle.

Your pathetic arse went to the game, because you were were hoping that Ole Miss would lose.

I support the home team where I live. I'm a Commodore Club Member and enjoy donating money to Vandy and LSU. So yes, I was pulling for Vandy to beat Ole Miss and for LSU to beat UGA.

It is nothing but pure luck, and probably Les Miles or some other fan selling his soul to the devil, that yall aren't 3-2.

Ole Miss fans are obsessed, before i lived in Mississippi i didn't care much about them either way, but their fans would take a 1-11 season with a win against LSU vs an 11-1 season w/o. They hate losing to Miss. State as much as to LSU but don't care as much about beating them.

This statement is extremely ignorant and retarded. We aren't fricking MSU who puts up a countdown clock to "Beat the Team Up North". We worry about 1 game at a time, and right now are focusing more on Bama and every other team we play before we play you (beisdes UAB and Northern Airzona).

This. Bama has gotten by us so narrowly for years, and now we feel we're overdue to beat them, which makes us want to beat them more than yall. That plus Atlanta being on the line and yall aren't looking much better than Ole Miss this season at all.

I was personally fine with an LSU win.
They continue to prove that they suck every week, and I want them to be as overrated as possible when we whoop that arse.

You wanted an Ole Miss loss more than a Vandy win. That's all that matters.
You can argue it all that you want, but I know that I called you out on your hypocrisy and that's enough for me.

I actually think more Ole Miss fans hate MSU than LSU. LSU we have quite a bit in common with, but State seems to stand for everything Ole Miss stands against, and vice versa.

I've been to an LSU game when we weren't playing yall, and I heard go to hell Ole Miss. So shut it. Its the pot calling the kettle black scenario.

Exactly.....They like to think that this rivalry is one-sided when it really isn't.
