Yeah maybe, but I've decided that I'm not threatened by OM fans dressing to the 9s anymore. I've bought more shite at Brooks Brothers this month (there's a friends & family sale, or was, online) than I care to admit. I just rarely, I mean never, wear my Bill's, blazer and a tie to football games. I have to dress like a dick during the week, so for ballgames its time to relax and cut loose and burn some meat and drink myself silly.
If they want to thats their thing.

My gameday attire is determined by one thing and one thing only. Well, two things.
1. Weather
2. Hot piece of arse Probability
If its cold, I might dress a little nicer, especially if there a high probability of a piece of arse.
If its hot, I'm shorts, sandals, and a clima-cool golf shirt with a Pig on it.

But I do reserve the right to make fun of their haircuts and their clothing should I so desire.
And your football coach is and will forever be fair game, should I choose to vent my repressed anger in his direction.

quote:So you really think there is a lot of difference in #50, #49, #48 and #47? Except for a few years in the panhandle of Florida (which sucks way worse than anything I have seen in Mississippi BTW), I have lived here my whole life. I live in the suburbs, I am minutes away from my deer woods, I had to go into Jackson to work for 30 years but it was in and out. No problem. I guess it's to each their own but I am quite happy with my surroundings.
LA- port of south la and n.o., controls the ms river
AR- Wal Mart, Tyson Chicken, etc
AL- Port of Mobile, Regions, ThyssenKrupp
MS- Tunica?
I think there is some validity in saying mississippi sucks

Wow, you really painted a great picture for all states you listed.
but this? Regions, ThyssenKrupp.

A regional bank and a German headquartered compnay?
For MS. just list Ashley Furniture, Northrop Thurman, Viking, you want a regional bank? Trustmark
You did none of those States any services except maybe Arkansas. You just left off Dillards, JB HUnt, and Reynolds.

We also have Arvest Bank (regional with locations with AR, MO, OK, and KS) and Alltel (fifth largest cell phone company; recently acquired by Verizon).

Arkansas has some ridiculously large companies headquartered there.

OH MY GOD NO WE DON'T HAVE A GODDAMN CHICKEN COMPANY

Your definitions as to what makes something great are highly, highly flawed. There are a lot of nice places which have a lot of stuff that I still hate.
Take Seattle for instance. Seattle is a clean city with low crime and a lot of stuff to do. Hell, Microsoft is headquartered there. But you wanna know why I hate it? Because the people there fricking suck. I've been three times and every time I leave I think to myself "no wonder it's the suicide capital of America." They've got all this great shite but still, somehow they're not happy.
I haven't lived in Mississippi in a long time but I still claim it as my home state.

I was jokingly making a point, but thank you for the support I guess. I kinda feel silly for forgetting about Sanderson Farms but whatever.
