But Manny Diaz wears cleats to practice!!!!! I'll never forget when they hired this guy I must have heard this shite 1000x. How the hell can Texas suck this bad with all of their built in advantages? A&M in the SEC with an exciting young coach (although it looks like they have abandoned playing defense too) and this must be a great time to be one of those arrogant arse UT fans.

What's really funny about all this is that Gene Chizik is the one that told Mack Brown about Manny Diaz.

Texas will be up for an SEC team, which should only point out Mack's failings.

Get up early and you win.

I thought this was an Ole Miss can beat Texas thread started by an Ole Miss fan? What are you reading?

If they don't beat us next week, it would be absolutely embarrassing to them. Honestly, you should just run it up the middle everytime. Manny will play base nickel/dime or call stunts that will take half of the team out of position

They rolled off a 10+ win season every year for a decade, and they got complacent. Mack stopped worrying about recruiting, and just got the consensus best players he could due to some recruiting service. No offensive or defensive identity. Country club culture.

Actually, it's not bias, it's being informed.

You're an LSU fan in New Orleans, what the frick do you know?

I live in central Austin and could walk to DKR. My wife went to UT. All my best friends are UT alum. Notice I never use those embarrasung "insults" other Aggies use like "sips" or t.u."?

Manny Diaz may not survive the week. They're in freakout mode. This isn't a bump on the noggin for a stable program that'll bounce back in the next game - this was a HC who was already in a fragile position who'd sold the city on a national championship run *this year*! It's likely that team will quit just like they did a few years ago. He'll fire his DC mid season and if he gets his shite pushed in by Baylor and OU, he'll be fired too.

You nailed it sir...so did fawx. Country club culture and good ol boy network are killing us. And I have no idea why mack still has a job. He preached 2013 season was the mark. Well its here and he is failing. Horribly. I don't foresee diaz making the end of the year. And next week doesn't get any easier. Bro Wallace is the same version of the Byu Qb. But prolly has more talent around him.

I'm going on a rant. Sorry. I'm just upset my team has so much potential and its being sqwandered...

Better passer, but not nearly the athlete. Wallace isn't the runner that Hill is.

Hill was going to Stanford to play QB out of HS. He's a great athlete.

You're right, but he is good enough running the ball to out run LSU's secondary
