LSU has a better BA and scores more earned runs on average than Ole Miss. Rebuttal?

No i think most logical ole miss fans will give you that lsu is a better hitting team. We play really good small ball and bank on our pitching staff which has some big injuries now. Reminds me a lot of the early 90s braves teams. Poms pitch count is up there but his control still looks good.

LSU is certainly the better hitting team.

different teams in the schedule.
I'm not saying that Ole Miss is a better hitting team.
We play small-ball.

I'm saying that it is silly to think that LSU will do a ton better against UVa's pitching than Ole Miss has.

LSU has a better team ERA as well as a better fielding%.

eta. sorry for being an arse hole. Ole Miss is definitely a great team and if both get to Omaha it should be a good game.

SEC stats?

I'll answer that question.
no.
Ole Miss has a 4.10 ERA in SEC play.
nobody else is close.
Florida is second at 4.65
LSU is third at 4.89

In Batting average LSU is .304 to .303. Ole Miss leads with OB%.
Ole Miss outscored LSU 108 to 99.

In SEC play, Ole Miss is third in fielding in the SEC at .977
LSU is fifth at .974

Why would you use stats against uneven competition when we have stats from conference play?
Oh yeah, because your stats benefit you that way.

Geez calm the frick down Mr. defensive. I just got the stats off lsusports.net which doesn't include SEC only stats. I guess Ole Miss is the better team than LSU after all based on SEC stats and not what the team does as a whole.

Oh yeah, 2-1, #3 national seed, number 1 rank
