This. I had pretty much given up in that last inning.
It's funny(not really) how we are against opposing pitchers. Mid to high ERA junk ball pitchers eat us up but for the 2nd week in a row.....we get to pitchers with a sub-1.5 ERA.
We smashed .8 and 1.2 ERA pitcher against USC. And we got bases loaded with no outs against ya'lls .8 ERA closer.

So stop acting like you should have won.
Note: I'm not doing that.
I'm just saying that Ole Miss lost more than State won. You can play "what ifs" all you'd like but the fact remains that two middling teams under .500 in the conference played to a one-run decision last night. Even though the outcome sucked for us, the game was still exciting and close.

Ole Miss fans are the biggest Cry Baby Puss figs I have ever seen. What a bunch of spoiled fricking titty babies. I have seen less crying in a nursery you bunch of pansy arse babies. You only embarrass yourselves as a weak arse fan base when every loss you ever have you whine and make excuse after excuse.
You're a count. And a fat motherfricker.

You hush your mouth. They would only televise one game tomorrow if it's a doubleheader.
I don't care about television. I'll be there saturday. My parents will be there too. I want to embarrass my mom with my intoxication level.

Not sure, but if I had to guess, it's be Forrest Moore's dad. Claim that Cohen used him knowing he was hurt. May have a case. Not sure.
I know he was butt hurt when he left State, though.

So back to talking about actual games....
FYI....Goforth has been our most consistent and best starter. If he comes out pitching like he did against USC, it's Bad New Bears for MSU.

Crouse pitched very well last night. He gives up what 1 earned run? It doesnt matter how Goforth pitches if we cant field better than last night.

We have our two best pitchers starting the next two games. Goforth scares me, but I got faith in these two. Their stats might not be great, I'm not sure. But they should do pretty well.

Agreed. But Crouse gave up a TON of 2 strike hits.

I don't know if it's been said but you can take one of those errors away and give Parks his damn hitting streak back. He hit an effin rocket at the third baseman. I don't think he ever saw it. Parks is a damn machine man. He also drilled a liner to right and got out. Perfect hitting.

His velocity was down last night. Huber and Wahl both looked like they were bringing it 95 after watching Crouse all night.

Austin Wright's been on mark as well. These next two pitchers are who we beat USC with. And we also still have Wahl and, I think, Huber to pitch. Hopefully Morgan will be ok to pitch some.

I'm glad we used Girodo so he probably won't pitch anymore this series.

I think that never gets brought up if Jarrod wasnt on a streak. But because he was, everyone over analyzes it. Yes it was hit hard, but Anderson purposely tried to back hand it instead of getting in front of it, which he could have. It doesnt matter how hard a ball is hit if you can put your glove on it while not running at it then you should field it. Just because its tough doesnt mean it wasnt an error.

So this was like a "moral loss" for State. Dangit, now I can't enjoy the win.

You're right. I mean it should have been an error really, but it shouldn't have been an error.
