congrats and all.....but we gave you 5 runs off of errors. That isn't an excuse. That is a FACT. We played like complete shite.
And y'all have been doin shite like that all season, which is something good teams don't do. So stop acting like you should have won. Teams that commit a lot of errors don't win. Your team commits a lot of errors.

Ole Miss fans are the biggest Cry Baby Puss figs I have ever seen. What a bunch of spoiled fricking titty babies. I have seen less crying in a nursery you bunch of pansy arse babies. You only embarrass yourselves as a weak arse fan base when every loss you ever have you whine and make excuse after excuse.

but any seasoned baseball fans know that State didn't "win" as much as Ole Miss "lost." Our shitrageous fielding gave you enough runs to win, and our failed attempt to score more than a run when we loaded the bases with NO OUTS against your stud closer was so terribly frustrating.
Then using that rationale,we "gave" you three runs by putting in Girado with two men on. Any seasoned baseball fan would know that he gives up home runs to the first batter he faces(see UGA and UF games).
You made mistakes, we capitilized on them. Two of your errors (Parks line shots at your fielders) were questionable. The first one should have been a hit.
Could you win the next two? Yes. Could we? Yes. These two teams are pretty even, but you guys act like you're a top 5 team that gave away a game to Jackson State. We've beaten Vandy, Florida, and S. Carolina. I can think of at least 4 SEC games that the other team didn't "win" as much as we "lost". That's why the two of us are battling for 7th and 8th place.

All this pissyness started when yall were saying pank was butthurt and he said he was and explained why. No one is making excuses. We're just explaining why we are frustrated after last nights performance.

I never said otherwise. As a matter of fact.....I alluded to this point several times already. But when you only give up 1 error an entire weekend against South Carolina.....it pisses you off when you commit 4 in one game the following weekend.

So on to other things. What is the weather going to do by first pitch tonight? Is there another wave behind the one that is dropping rain on Oxford right now. Hopefully your field crew want make 4 or 5 mistakes in keeping the field dry today so we can play tonight. (First part of the question was for real - the second part was just a playful jab).

This....and you're correct about the majority of MSU fans being so defensive that they HAVE to stick their chests out and proclaim it as a great win when they beat us.....regardless of the path it took to get there.
Look at the OM/UF football game back in 2008. I will say we matched up well against them but overall......I'm just happy to walk out of there with a W after Tebow turned the ball over 3 times that game. The same should be said by MSU fans about this game.
But you aren't going to get that. It's....."Nuh uhhhhh...ur just mad cuz we beat you."
and as far as the "what if" of the MSU outfielder making that diving catch.....that's a very low-percentage catch. Most OF'ers would just let that ball bounce in front of them to minimize the damage.
And as far as Cohen putting in that pitcher....how exactly does that compare to a routine fielding error? It doesn't. It's like saying....well....if you wouldn't have hit that ball, it wouldn't have been a HR.

I can respect smartassery like this.
No clue as to the weather. I'll be at the Softball fields all day again.

They've had a wool coat ever since the 09' egg bowl and we havent made them take it off. I doubt if we take two of three that they'll remove the wool, but it would at least make the rest of the summer a bit more sane on here.

Has anyone heard anything else about Cohen being sued? Yancy dropped that bomb yesterday and I havent heard anymore details besides he's being sued for 14 mil by a former player. Too bad it wasnt Bianco or Coonass would have already gave us all his classified information.

I wonder if it's that pitcher Cohen made throw 150 pitches in one game after the guy said he was finished at 100?

I would have been extremely pissed had we lost the game (and I said as much earlier in this thread when Cohen went with Girodo) and I can see how an OM fan would be. We both had chances to win the game.

I know. You've already stated your opinions in this thread and they are the correct ones.
But bad pitcher or not.....Yarbrough is the statistically best hitter on our team. We had some pretty good odds with him.

They are reporting it on sixpack, which is about as reliable as Yancy. I believe it though. Sounds pretty dumb. No way to prove 14 mil. I'm sure some Ole Miss lawya got a huge kick out of watching that subpoena being issued. What a dick move doing that right before the game. But if I was an ole miss fan, I'd probably think it was pretty awesome.

I'll laugh like hell if Cohen has to pay it and the Lawyer donates his keep to our baseball program.
ETA: ....publicly.
