I went to both schools and though I pick Ole Miss, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't proud of the maroon degree on my wall. I went back to Starkville last Summer and they really have come a long way in 10 years both with the town and the campus.

The whole lawyers & doctors thing is dumb considering that both State and USM grads go to different schools for these positions after undergrad.

And for good measure, Since the SEC went to the divisional format, State has been to Omaha, SEC Title Game in football, and the Final Four. Ole Miss hasn't made any of those.

Not when the majority of people that go there are from OM and when most of the professors are from OM. The professors that arent are from out of state schools. Wheres the State and Southern senators if yall graduate so many?

Perhaps they have real jobs that pay? I'm pretty sure neither LA senator went to LSU yet it's still a LSU dominated state.

Youre partially correct. The dumbest/fattest state has the largest percentage of rednecks and simple people. Their are more rednecks in MS than elitist so it only makes sense your school would be bigger. But I'd love to hear what difference that makes.
