shite....forgot that they did pitch last night. They should be good for Sunday though.
Huber pitched maybe 20 pitches. Wahl had an extremly short 9th so I'd be suprised if he pitched over 30. I did think they'd bring pimp juice in and let one close last night and the other tonight, but maybe Bianco thinks Morgan can pitch one night.

I'm trying to see if there's a Morgan update on the Spirit but they've gone so batshit crazy that it pushes any GOOD posts off the page.

Did Morgan even go to the bullpen to get warm if needed? If not, I wonder has his shoulder stiffened up after last week.

Is tonight's pitcher righty or southpaw?

So this was like a "moral loss" for State
It has nothing to do with taking credit away from MSU. Stop being so sensative to your big brothers opinion of you.

I don't think so. Willing to bet it did stiffen up. He was in some pain last weekend. He pitched one inning fine and then it just started hurting during the next inning's warm-up pitches.

Righty. mid to upper 90's fast ball. Beastly low-90's cutter. decent change-up.
His biggest problem is his stamina. If our defense doesn't do their job and extends his innings, we'll be in trouble.

big brothers
Ahh, the things you say to try to agitate State Fans
I believe Older brother would be the only appropriate term. Bigger is simply not true.

Pank was explaining why he was butt hurt over the loss. Yall were saying, calm down its just one game, its just baseball. He then explained losing a game to anyone, even state, when they beat us instead of us beating ourselves is nothing to get upset about. But when you commit 4 errors, giving up 5 unearned runs to your instate rival, when the west crown and conference tourney is on the line, especially after taking 2 of 3 from USC, it stings a bit.
Hell, I don't care. I just wanted to use the "moral loss" line.
Bianco's OM teams always seemed to field well, so I understand your frustration. We always had good fielding until Polk's last year or so and Cohen's first season. Errors have to be the most frustrating thing to a fan, right up there with your favorite team taking way too many called strikes.
P.S. I wondered if OM's guy on 3rd should have tried to steal home after that 2nd strike (then 0-2) on the last batter in the 9th.

We were one of the best fielding teams in the SEC before conference play started. Now we've been the worst.
I think the problems in the field are mainly from our new players. They should be a much better fielding team next season.

older does not equal bigger. All to get a rise though, so it's cool.
The bigger brother would def be Miss. State though. Ahh, the things we can find to argue over.

In retrospect, I don't even think brother would be the correct term. At least brothers have some level respect for each other. Maybe cousins?

I agree. MSU is most definitely fatter than Ole Miss.
