Texas fans are such bitches, you guys quit updating your wiki after you went 5-0 for some reason.

Texas and Texas A&M had a harder time just outright cheating because Texas media is not solely in support of their success, as in the smaller states. But now that these two can legally throw it around, the backwoods cheaters are at a disadvantage.

It actually pisses me off to think about it - we took so much crap about doing "less with more" from these cheating arse schools. No, we were just playing fair.

Yeah because Texas has never been sanctioned or put on probation for recruiting violations or impermissible gifts.

Texas has an embarrassing wealth of riches and always has. You virtually have the first pick of all the Texas H.S. talent. The "less with more" title is well-earned.

It is so ridiculous that Texas fans make the claim that "everybody cheated but them".

Tony Degrate said they were getting paid in the '80s along with everybody else in the SWC.'

Chris Simms said they gave him money.

Colt McCoy's wife said those guys got money.

The NCAA sanctioned Texas for recruiting Marcus Dupree.

Romance Taylor was driving an SUV that was being paid by boosters and funneled through his high school teammate's dad.

And the Taylor situation illustrates how easy Texas could cheat compared to the "backwater" schools... They could cheat through boosters giving players and prospects money through people who had "previous relationships" with those players. Much easier to do for a team that does mostly in state recruiting. Give money to some player's third grade teacher.. who can pass it along legally.

Compare this to OU... If OU were cheating to get a Texas HS player... there are all kinds of people in Texas ready and willing to rat them out if it was obvious.

Most programs didn't cheat to get the guys on campus. But they turned a blind eye to boosters once the players were on campus.

Outside of money there was very little upside for OU moving to SEC. They owned the B12 in football. I do mean owned it.

They had the most to lose moving to SEC if winning conference championships is high up on priority list. I’m talking the most to lose among all 4 expansion teams.

Not trolling OU, great program. But facts are facts.
